Lindsay Allee grew up around horses, riding before she could even walk. She started showing Western
Pleasure in 4H by the age of 8. By the age of 12, she trained her very first horse and began successfully showing him in 4H
and WSCA shows. Through her high school years, Lindsay worked at Sliding B Ranch, a reining farm in Deer Park, WI. Not only
was she a stable hand, but she was involved with training the young reining horses as well. She also took a few summer
classes at UWRF during high school. Once graduated, she spent the summer interning with BJ Berry, a trainer in Rice Lake,
WI. After completing her internship, Lindsay went on to train for herself, specializing in groundwork, colt starting, and
tune-ups/refresher courses. Her training techniques are strongly influenced by legends such as John Lyons, Pat Parelli,
Clinton Anderson, and Monty Roberts. After 5 years of running her own business, Lindsay took a break from the “horse world”
to focus on family life...having a daughter in 2005 and a son in 2007. Now that she has 2 small kids and a full-time summer
job away from the farm, her time for training is very limited. Her goal is to work with only one horse at a time so she can
focus as much attention on that horse as possible. Because of this, training openings are very limited. |
